As well as seeing The London Fields on the radio, last weekend also saw Rescue Cat, Bear, and The Kittens (Louise Golbey and Cass Farry) come up to Bruno’s hot tin roof and play some luxury pop tunes on a carpet of hot tin foil.
The London Fields were in attendance with some acoustic stuff, and there was a BBQ with a default Greek salad as accompaniment. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather conditions, the whole thing had to be taken inside.
Every kitchen has a silver lining, though, as we discovered when Rescue Cat proceeded to cover “Don’t Stop Believing” complete with percussion breakdown played on pots and pans, which, despite how it might sound, really was quite incredible. Are there too many commas in that sentence?
